LET'S PLAY DOLLS EXCLUSIVE!10" "Dawn" was created in honor of my daughter, Dawn and her beloved doting grandfather (my wonderful Dad) who she called, "Papa". When Dawn was 4 years old, she had a favorite red dress and pinafore with a bell sewn to the petticoat. She would only wear that dress when visiting her Papa. She would grin at him and shake her skirt to make the bell ring. He would laugh with delight and they would giggle together and have a very good time! Then one day, the special dress didn't fit anymore! My little girl cried inconsolably. I searched everywhere to find the same dress in a larger size, but with no luck. Finally, I bought a different dress, a green one, in a similar style. I sewed a new bell to the petticoat. At first, Dawn looked at it sadly, telling me it just wasn't the same. I told her, "Your Papa is going to love this dress even more, because green is his favorite color." This brought a big smile to her face and all was ok again! And so, the skirt ringing continued! In the likeness of my real Dawn, this darling doll has a red mohair braided wig and green painted eyes. She is all vinyl and fully jointed. The two dresses are nearly perfect replicas of the originals! This doll was designed by Dianna Effner in 2007. Dawn is limited to only 50 dolls, MIB (mint in box) with numbered certificate. Dawn comes dressed in the green dress, white eyelet pinafore, petticoat with bell, green tights and black leather Mary Jane shoes. The red dress outfit is sold separately. BONEKA DOLL CLOTHING & SHOES
This beautiful clothing line was created by Rosemarie Ionker of Germany and manufactured in Indonesia. The quality and detail are simply outstanding! Please notice the lovely fabrics, hand smocking, embroidery, tiny French knots and fabric button loops. The shoes are all leather including their soles and tiny flat heels. Your special dollies are in for a treat!
