Velma's Doll Page

I am selling the items on this page for my wonderful 88 year old friend, Velma. For many years, Velma helped me sell dolls at all the doll shows. She helped me unpack, set up, pack up at the end of the show, wait on customers, and watch my table. In 1991, when I woke up in the hospital after surgery, my husband (now ex) was not there. But Velma was. When I had to go to a doctor 60 miles away and was in too much pain to drive, Velma drove me there. On the way, a runaway tire raced down the highway and hit Velma’s car. In addition to scaring us half to death, it caused significant damage. I offered to pay her deductible, but she wouldn’t allow it. Velma has always been there for me. Now she needs my help! She is in an assisted living facility, and has many bills. The sale of these dolls will help tremendously.
All items are smoke free, and most are mint in box.

10” all bisque doll, on stand, blue glass eyes, strawberry blonde hair, with beautiful porcelain tea set, contained in a lovely white silk covered presentation box, porcelain serving tray measures 6 ½” in diameter, tea pot is 4 ½” tall, year of production unknown, probably 1990’s, mint in box.

16” Cloth Campbell Kid girl & boy dolls, made by Russ, 1982, some of the black shoe paint has transferred from the boy doll, to the original plastic bag he was stored in, see last photo, damage is also on the back of the shoes, dolls are otherwise clean, crisp, and in pristine condition, they come in very nice generic type white boxes; I don’t know if these are original or not, priced for the pair.
