These pens were beautifully handcrafted by a skilled, local wood worker. The Brazilian Walnut pens have 24k gold filled fittings and the Figured Birch pens have chrome fittings. The wood is carefully cut out to best utilize the features and grain of the wood. It is then turned on a lathe and shaped to size. Then it is sanded and finished with a sealer coat and then applied with 3 coats of a special burnishing wax, made in Australia. This gives it a beautiful finish while still retaining the feel of real wood.
You can expect years of service from these pens. They use a Cross style refill when needed. The size is approximately 3/8” in diameter and 5” long. Each pen comes in a black velvet pen case. These make nice gifts for those who are hard to buy for.
